Roshan Rajadurai
Roshan Rajadurai joined the Plantations Sector in 1983 and counts over 37 years of experience. He was a Group Manager of Kelani Valley Plantations at Pedro Estate Nuwara Eliya and thereafter joined Kahawatte Plantations of Dilmah in 2002 as General Manager and was Director / CEO from 2008 – 2012. Re-joined Hayleys in 2013 as the Managing Director of Hayleys Plantations Sector and is responsible for Kelani Valley, Talawakelle and Horana Plantations.
He had been the Chairman of the Planters’ Association of Ceylon, Board Member of the Sri Lanka Tea Board, Tea Research Institute, Rubber Research Board, Tea Small Holdings Development Authority and the Tea Council of Sri Lanka. He serves in the Standing Committee on Agriculture of the University Grants Commission.
He holds a B.Sc Honours in Plantation Management, an MBA from the Post Graduate Institute of Agriculture, Peradeniya, an M.Sc in Plantation Crop and Agriculture and a D.Sc. from Wayamba University and a Ph.D in Management.
