Rathika is the Executive Director of UN Global Compact Network Sri Lanka and is a founder member of the Board of Directors of Global Compact Network Ceylon. Previously, he was the Country Head, DNV GL Business Assurance Lanka (Pvt) Ltd. He is a qualified/certified GRI Senior Auditor for Sustainability/Integrated Reporting. He has over 18 years of experience in Corporate Sustainability and Reporting.

He completed his university education in the USA. He is an Alumni of the Prince of Wales Business and Sustainability Leadership, University of Cambridge, UK. Prior to his move to DNV GL Sri Lanka he served in the Executive Committee as the Vice President for Sustainable Development at Holcim Sri Lanka.

He has also led several regional projects (for Asia Pacific Region) during his tenure at Holcim and played a key role in many of its global initiatives. As a pioneer in corporate sustainability in Sri Lanka his contribution to corporates in Sri Lanka over the years has helped businesses keep pace with Global standards in Environment and Social Governance.
