Dilrukshi Kurukulasuriya
Dilrukshi Kurukulasuriya is an Attorney at law with a Diploma in Human Resources Development and a Postgraduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Law. She commenced her career by joining the private BAR and later changed her career into Human Resources Development.
She counts over 20 years of experience working for family owned companies to Fortune 500 companies and large conglomerates. She is very passionate towards capacity building for organizations and empowering women. She is certified for gender studies by the Gender Academy ILO International Training Centre Turin. Currently she holds the position of Chief Human Resources Officer at Diesel & Motor engineering PLC (DIMO), one of the leading corporates in Sri Lanka. She was also a board director at the Skills Development Fund Limited in Sri Lanka from 2017 – 2018 May. She is a recipient of the Top 50 women award for Human Resources in year 2017 by “Women in Management” and one of the 100 top Global HR Minds recognized by World HRD Congress.
During her 13 years at DIMO she was instrumental in driving Human Resources Management of the organization to great heights and is also instrumental in winning many prestigious national & international awards for Human Resources Management Excellence including DIMO’s recognition as a Great Place To Work in Sri Lanka and Asia. She is also passionate about developing vocational training sector and actively works towards increasing female participation in non-conventional jobs.
