Darshana is a triple qualified finance professional counting over 23 years of work experience. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, UK (CIMA) and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, UK (ACCA). He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka and is also a qualified Marketer in addition to possessing several other academic and professional qualifications.

Darshana is currently serving as the Group Finance Director and an Executive Board Member at MJF Group. MJF Group owns Dilmah Tea and has interests in Leisure, Retail, Real-estate, Plantations, Tea Brokering & Logistics, Printing & Packaging along with extensive presence in Investment Markets. MJF Group consist of 6 foreign subsidiaries and more than 20 local companies. Before MJF Group, Darshana worked in number of multinational companies & local conglomerates spanning FMCG, Retail, Apparel, Manufacturing, BPO/KPO, Insurance sectors in addition to international experience and overseas postings.
