Charitha is the President of the Retail sector and has been with the Group since 2003. He was the Sector Financial Controller of the Retail Sector, before being appointed as the Chief executive Officer in 2005. He was employed at Aitken Spence Hotel Management as the Sector Financial conntroller before moving to John Keells Group. He is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (UK) as well as a Diploa holder of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK), and he also holds an MBA from the University of Colombo.
